Enjoy Hot Springs
The Jinshan/Wanli area, with mountains at its back and the ocean at the front, is a “treasure land” rich in natural resources. The hot springs were discovered after an earthquake on November 23, 1867, in the Qing Dynasty. There are four kinds of hot springs—seabed, carbonated, sulfurous, and ferrous. The hot springs in this area were first developed by the Japanese in the early years of the Colonial Period of Taiwan. Recently, with modernized facilities, the hot-spring resorts have made this area a favorite of domestic and foreign visitors.Jinshan , Wanli and Bali Hot Spring

Types of Hot Springs
where
1. Seabed Hot Springs
These appear in only a few places in the world, and Taiwan is one of them. One of Taiwan’s seabed hot springs is located off the Jinshan/Wanli coast.
2. Carbonated Hot Springs
These hot springs come from the Datun volcano group. They are rich in carbon dioxide and minerals, with temperatures between 34 to 45℃.

3. Sulfurous Hot Springs
These hot springs also come from the Datun volcano group, and are acidic sulfurous springs. They are high in temperature, and are categorized into green-sulfur springs and yellow-sulfur springs. The green-sulfur springs have a strong sulfur smell and are high in temperature, while the yellow-sulfur springs have a weaker smell and are lower in temperature. After settling, the water is 42-45℃ all year round.
4. Ferrous Hot Springs
The ferrous springs in the area are slightly alkaline and are rich in iron, very special.
