Shitoushan Park is located on a cape protruding into the sea. It used to be a military stronghold guarding part of the northern coast, and therefore the environment is relatively better-preserved—besides the old barracks and fortifications that are still intact, there has been very little human development, preserving the rich geological and ecological resources that make this place a popular tourist attraction.

Leaning against mountains and the sea, Jinshan and Wanli have plenty of natural resources. The two areas produce many agricultural products, too. Also, the Datun Volcanoes have bestowed Jishan and Wanli with high-quality hot springs.

The famous Wanjin Bikeways of the North Coast meander through Jhongjiao Bay, Huangqing Bridge, Jinshan Youth Activity Center, Shuiwei Fishery Port, and more. Along the paths, there are also beaches, scenic coasts, and beautiful small fishery villages. Be sure to take a hot spring bath after a bicycle trip in Jinshan or Wanli to feel energized again.

Yehliu Geopark is truly a park of natural wonders: rocks carved by wave-cutting and weathering over years and years were formed into shapes resembling figures that are real.
