After the CECC announced that grade-2 alert would replace grade-3 alert in Taiwan, Yehliu Geopark of the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area reopened on July 27. The park is accessible to visitors from 8am to 5pm now, although all visitors must leave the site by 6pm. Since the summer is fairly warm this year, to make it more comfortable for visitors to explore the park and for them to watch the sunset in Yehliu, the park’s opening hours will be 9 to 6 soon after instead, and visitors must leave by 7.
On July 31 and August 1, 7, and 8, the park’s administration will give small presents to the first 100 visitors of the day. The free gifts will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
