About the Crown Coast Tourism Union
  • The Crown Coast Tourism Union extends from the Wugu, Bali, Tamsui, Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan, and Wanli Districts in New Taipei City all the way to Keelung; and the Crown Coast’s continuous coastline resembles a crown placed upon Taiwan. Together with the iconic Queen’s Head in Yehliu, the aforementioned coastline perfectly embodies the imagery of “a crown coast.” Starting in 2025, the tourism union further expanded to include Taoyuan’s Pearl Coast—encompassing various districts including the Dayuan, Luzhu, Guanyin, and Xinwu Districts—forming the most distinctive coastal tourism corridor in northern Taiwan. The area contains the Port of Keelung and Taoyuan International Airport, while also being adjacent to the Port of Taipei and Songshan Airport, linking sea, land, and air transportation networks together. This makes the Crown Coast Tourism Union a tourism union highly accessible to international travelers while showcasing Taiwan’s unique geographical advantages and strong global potential.

The Crown Coast features the northernmost Fugui Cape Lighthouse; the scenic Qianshui Bay, Baisha Bay, and Zhongjiao Bay; Yehliu and the Heping Island that possess distinctive landscapes and cultural charm; and Jinshan and Wanli characterized by their multi-mineral hot springs, providing excellent options for rejuvenating visitors’ minds and bodies. The Pearl Coast, which boasts rare resources such as the majestic Caota Sand Dunes , unique Guanxin Algal Reefs , traditional seine fishing culture, and century-old stone weirs, highlights the intertwined beauty of nature and culture. With the integration of natural, cultural, industrial, and transportation advantages, the Crown Coast is not only the most dazzling tourism brand in northern Taiwan, but also an important gateway to the international stage and to the realization of sustainable development.
