In cooperation with the New South Bound Policy advocated by the government, the North Coast & Guanyinshan Scenic Area Administration, under the guidance of the Tourism Bureau of MOTC, attended the 2017 Malaysia Autumn International Tourism Fair (MATTA Fair) as well as 2017 Taiwan Tourism Promotion Fair, which were launched and promoted by Malaysia tourism offices.   The Taiwanese group, consisted of representatives from Taiwanese tourism industry, has aimed to enable the Malaysian people to get to know more about Taiwan’s touristic resources and strengthen the cooperative opportunities between the Malaysian travel agents and Taiwanese travel organizations so as to attract more visitors to come to visit Taiwan.  The cooperation also includes the insistence to local Malaysian tourism offices regarding the establishment and schedule set-ups to boost the motivation to visiting the North Coast Shore.

Following previous years, Tourism Bureau of MOTC has been continuing its promotive program in Malaysia.  With its theme entitled “Time For Taiwan”, the program combines local culture, food, shopping, leisure, ecology, and romance to sparkle Taiwanese touristic spots.  2017 Taiwan Tourism Promotion Fair was held in Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur City Center on September 6.  Participants included local government representatives, travel agents, hoteliers, airlines, and souvenir companies.  This fair aims to acquaint local tourism related units with Taiwanese tourism resources and scenic spots.  The North Coast and Guanyinshan Scenic Area Administration had a slide presentation to explain its Muslin friendly facilities including religious remarks and pray rooms, and to attract more muslin tourists.  Taiwan Tourist Shuttle—Crown North Coast Line has also released an “Indian Food” Package which caters for its certificated muslin restaurant to attract more muslins.

2017 Malaysia Autumn International Tourism Fair (MATTA Fair) took place in Kuala Lumpur World Trade Center (PWTC)from September 8 to September 10.  The North Coast and Guanyinshan Scenic Area Administration has set up a booth, in which virtue reality and amplified reality were used to introduce the visitors the resources of the north coast shore.  Visitors can take a photo with simulated Yeliu Queen’s Head and understand the scenic spots with 720 degree panorama sound guidance.  The advanced technology has deepened the impression of the north coast shore and arouse the curiosity and interest of the visitors to visit the beauty of nature on the splendid north coast shore of Taiwan.

The North Coast and Guanyinshan Scenic Area Administration will continue its promotion abroad to fortify the commercial and touristic interaction with representatives abroad.  By means of promoting activities in overseas, more international visitors are expected to visit the North Coast Shore.
