North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Administration) under the Tourism Bureau, MOTC will hold Heping Island Music Festival as the fourth side event of the 2020 Formosa LOHAS Festival from 17:00 to 20:40 on Saturday, August 29 at Heping Island Park in Keelung amid much fanfare. A music concert, an open-air fair, and kids’ runway show will be held. All members of the public are cordially invited to join the event for some summer-night fun.
In continuation of small-town tourism promoted by Zhongzheng District Office of Keelung County, this year, the music festival promotes mountain tourism, too. A local social welfare group for indigenous peoples will give an opening show, expressing their love for mountains and the sea through music and dance. Then, artists such as Seagull-K Vocal Band, Ruby Lin, Joyin Wang, and ZJ Hsu will each contribute a few songs. Why not come to the park to enjoy some good music while exploring the park’s unique geological formations.
