The Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications (M.O.T.C.) held the 2022 Tourism Festival Awards Ceremony at the International Reception Room in the Grand Hotel Taipei on February 11. This was to be grateful to 84 domestic and foreign tourism industry groups and practitioners who remained in the industry in the face of COVID-19 pandemic in the past year for recognizing their outstanding performance and contribution to Taiwan's tourism development. They earned six awards including Taiwan Tourism Contribution Award, Excellent Tourism Industry Group Award, Excellent Tourism Industry Award, Excellent Tourism Industry Practitioner Award, Group and Individual Award for Enthusiasm for Tourism, and Tourism and Amusement Industry Supervision and Assessment Competition Award.
Teacher Yong-long, Lin, the volunteer of the North Scenic Area Administration won the award of the Group and Individual Award for Enthusiasm for Tourism for his consideration, enthusiasm, and professional services. As for Jin-hui, Tang, the General Manager of the New Space International Co., Ltd., he has been insisting on protecting Yehliu Geopark since it was seriously affected by the epidemic. Both of them were awarded by Shi-chung, Chang, the Director General, Tourism Bureau, M.O.T.C.
Kwo-tsai, Wang, the Minister, M.O.T.C. delivered a speech.
