To improve its transit services, the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration inaugurated a new stop called “Laomei Green Reef” for “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - 716 Crown North Coast” on April 1. Now, visitors can get off at the new stop, take a short walk along a visiting path to Taiwan’s northernmost Fugui Cape Lighthouse, and enjoy beautiful coastal scenery. At the nearby Fuji Fishery Market, visitors can also try fresh delicious seafood. Afterwards, they may hop on the bus again at another stop called “Fugui Cape Lighthouse.” The itinerary can be enjoyed the other way round - the fishery market first, followed by the lighthouse. There are a few more scenic spots and a special “Mei’s Wonderland” in Laomei Community to visit. At the wonderland, AR technology is used for visitors to learn about the area in a creative way. On a side note, the names of two existing but stops, “Fugui Cape Lighthouse” and “Jhongjiao Bay,” are also adjusted to better suit visitors’ needs.
