Promoting Year of Mountain Tourism and highlighting Guanyinshan as a LOHAS tourist region, North Coast and National Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration under the Tourism Bureau, MOTC recently launched “2020 Guanyinshan LOHAS Hiking.” The first promotional event, “Enjoying Hiking in Guanyinshan,” takes place from now until July 31. Visitors can get prize-draw tickets and handmade pomelo soaps on limited offer, upon uploading their pictures at Guanyinshan’s hiking trails at Instagram or Facebook. The second promotional event, “Treasure Hunt in Guanyinshan,” is held from July 1 to November 1. The organizer encourages people to get close to the mountains, finding “precious stones” along Guanyinshan’s seven hiking trails. Those who accomplish the mission are entitled to join a prize draw and they will be offered online certificates. The prizes include brand-name hiking backpacks. As to the third promotional event, “Autumn Pomelo Hiking Tour & Opening Ceremony of the Raptor House,” all members of the public are cordially invited to come to Guanyinshan for moon-festival hiking and some tea and pomelos, aside from visiting the newly established raptor house. The organizer welcomes visitors young and old to explore Guanyinshan on a bright autumn day!
