In order to promote and market bicycle activities in Taiwan, the Tourism Bureau, MOTC, is working with the international online virtual indoor cycling platform Rouvy to organize a virtual reality cycling event from 2/2-2/22.
The Tourism Bureau, is set to organize the "2023 Taiwan Cycling Paradise B" virtual reality event for the first time this year, after the initial international marketing event for Taiwan Cycling Paradise A held on the Rouvy platform in December last year proved a big success. The virtual reality competition offers 3 new routes including the North Coast Line, East Coast Line and Yushan National Park Line, with sandy shores, rocky coastal areas, high mountains and new routes across Taiwan.
In order to expand the promotion and give the public more cycling experience the Tourism Bureau has set up virtual riding experience machines in Baisha Bay Visitor Center on the North Coast, Duli Visitor Center on the East Coast, Dapeng Bay Visitor Center and Sun Moon Lake Xiangshan Visitor Center. Visitors are invited to try them out.
