In addition to providing accessible facilities (parent-child toilets), there are also diaper changing tables, special toilets for children, and considering the facilities for ritual ablution, Muslim bidet sprays have also been added. In addition, there is also a fire alarm text display flasher specially designed for the hearing impaired. In addition, when coping with heavy foot traffic, it is a major challenge to achieve the goals of being "not dirty, smelly or wet." In 2022, the headquarters actively introduced smart public toilets equipped with a resource consumption detection system. Whereas regular cleaning and disinfection are carried out every 2 hours, the frequency is increased on holidays, making optimal use of the smart public toilet reporting system when foot traffic is high, or materials used up, so as to offer highly-efficient cleaning services and replacement of materials whenever necessary.
The Northguan National Scenic Area Headquarters will continue to improve facility maintenance and the cleaning of public toilets within its jurisdiction, in an effort to enhance the cleanliness and comfort of such facilities, challenging stereotypes about public toilets and helping to improve the quality of the recreational experience for visitors.
