Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters adheres to the four principles of "facility reduction," "environmental prioritization," "international standards" and "tourist convenience" to improve the quality of tourism and recreation. It also actively promotes sustainable tourism and environmental education, working with partners on the Crown Coast to transform the area into a green tourism paradise.
Pop-Smile Popcorn Tourism Factory, located on the left bank of Bali, is an important partner of the Crown Coast in promoting sustainable tourism. Since its establishment, the factory has adhered to the concepts of "sustainable management," "community co-prosperity" and "green education," from business practices to encouraging tourists to jointly focus on the issue of sustainable development, receiving Silver Environmentally Friendly Recreation Venue Certification in 2023. It was the first venue to obtain the certification among the 158 tourism factories certified by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan.
Heping Island Geopark on the Crown Coast also has a number of sustainability certifications and international awards, while Yehliu Geopark has obtained the Green Travel Label. The Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters cooperates with travel agencies to offer a variety of natural and green transportation ticket packages. In addition to purchasing value-for-money ticket packages or tours, the Tourism Administration has launched the 16 Go Bike TAIWAN Bike Routes certification event from now until April 30. As long as visitors come to the North Coast to ride the Shuangwan Bikeway (from Qianshui Bay to Baisha Bay), record the route map with their own mobile phone, take a photo including participant and Fuguijiao Lighthouse and share it on social media, they can get limited gifts.
