From September 21st (Sat.) to November 30th (Sat.), the Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters will hold an “Art Exhibition Exploring Amazing Scenery Footprints in the Northguan Scenic Area” at the Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fishermen's Wharf. An opening tea party was held today (September 21), and six participating painters were invited to share their admiration for the magnificent scenery in the Scenic Area and the ideas that inform their work.
Director Chen Yu-chuan, said artists have been invited to create beautiful depictions of north coast scenery such as Guanyinshan, Fuguijiao Lighthouse, Laomei Green Reef, Shimen Cave, Twin Candlestick Islets, Yehliu Geopark, Keelung Heping Island Geopark and other places. Creating exquisite paintings using a variety of creative media, the artists employ their painting skills to portray the exquisite scenery of the North Coast and its wonders, providing ultimate visual enjoyment that extends from reality to imagination. After being shown in Tamsui, the art exhibition will move to Yehliu Geopark, Baishawan Visitor Center and Heping Island Geopark. In future, the Headquarters will also authorize Crown Coast store operators to transform the paintings into cultural creative products with local features to jointly market the beauty of the North Coast.
Visitors are welcome to attend and participate in the event. In addition, follow the art walking map to see 12 scenic spots, experience the magnificent scenery in the artist's paintings and the spiritual trajectory of the moment in which they came into being.
