Hosted by the Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters, the “2025 Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen’s Head Illuminated at Night” immersive light-and-shadow art event has won two Gold Awards at the 2025 MUSE Creative Awards (U.S.) for its brilliant fusion of Yehliu’s distinctive geological landscapes with light-and-shadow art. This international honor once again brings the breathtaking landscapes of Yehliu to the global stage.
The MUSE Creative Awards, organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), is one of the world’s leading accolades in the fields of creativity and design, attracting thousands of entries from across the globe each year. The “2025 Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen’s Head Illuminated at Night” won in both the “Event–Cultural” and “Experiential & Immersive - Interactive Outdoor Event” categories, underscoring Yehliu’s exceptional geological charm and its strong potential as a nighttime tourism destination.
Since its debut in 2018, “Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen’s Head Illuminated at Night” has successfully blended Yehliu’s unique natural landscapes with light-and-shadow art. This year’s theme, “The Queen’s Transformation,” highlighted Yehliu’s geological features while incorporating creative works from local artists and elementary and junior high school students. The result was an immersive fusion of technology, art, and landscape, allowing visitors to experience the irreplaceable allure of Yehliu within a magical nighttime atmosphere.
Chen Yu-chuan, director of the Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters, noted that this event represents not only a profound rediscovery of Yehliu’s natural and cultural treasures but also an important opportunity to enhance Taiwan’s global tourism visibility.
