Combating 2019 novel coronavirus, the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration has enhanced its disease-prevention measures. Sanitizing alcohol, hand wash, and face masks are available at the area’s seven visitor centers - Guanyinshan, Sanzhi, Baisha Bay, Jinshan, Yehliu, Jhongjiao Bay, and Heping Island, and these places are sterilized regularly. All staff members would wear face masks when providing services, including guided tours. Visitors are advised to wash hands often. The goal is to provide travel services in a safe environment to visitors home and abroad.
The Administration noted that disease prevention at tourist destinations will be a priority of the country’s “week of travel safety” later this year. The service staffs will carry out all necessary tasks and the visitor centers will implement relevant measures, in hopes of building a hygienic environment for visitors. Taking visitors’ needs into consideration, the Administration wants to make sure that they enjoy the North Coast’s impeccable natural scenery in a well-protected environment - and go home safe and sound.
