In recent years, the headquarters has actively promoted sustainable tourism and in addition to continuing to optimize tourism services in scenic spots based on sustainability, it has also cooperated with Innovation and Creative Technology Co., Ltd. to create the first "game-based learning" approach designed to convey the concept of sustainable tourism to tourists." Combined with the concept of sustainable tourism, this led to the design of the "Crown coast: Finding Hidden Gems" board game, which participated in this year's European Conference on Games Based Learning (ECGBL) – “International Educational Games Competition" held in the Netherlands), defeating the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy and other countries to secure an Honorable Mention in the "Non-digital game competition category." The judges said: "This board game is based on the concept of sustainable tourism, which is an issue of current international importance. It is an influential board game that can convey the concept of sustainable tourism through gaming."
In the game, players take on the role of tourists and go on a journey to the mountains and sea. Any decisions they make during the trip impact the sustainability index of each location. Through the game, they can change tourist behavior, reduce the impact of tourism on the environment, maximize social and economic benefits and jointly create a high-quality tourism environment. This board game has also been sent to more than 100 schools across Taiwan, encouraging parent-child tourists to visit the Crown Coast, where visitors can learn first-hand from the classroom of nature.
