North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration Took Part in Tokyo Tourism Fair to Attract More Tourists.

2017 Tokyo International Tourism Fair closed its curtain on September 24.  The Tourism Bureau of MOTC promoted Taiwan with the yearly theme of “Meet Colors! Taiwan.   Colorfully painted trains of the Yamate Line will take off circling Tokyo, hopefully appealing to Japanese tourists to come to Taiwan by the end of 2017 to reach the amount of Japanese tourists in Taiwan, which totals to two millions.

 
Cooperation plans with the biggest Japanese travel agent JTB
 
During the four day long Tourism Fair, North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Bureau, MOTC has set up its own booth to establish the cooperation plans and to target tourism promotion in Japan.  The efforts have acquired enthusiastic response.  The biggest travel agent in Japan, JTB, and the prestigious travel agent HIS, have accomplished their first cooperation plans with North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration.  In the near future, Japanese tourists will participate at the study and travel programs as well as historical and cultural journeys on the north coast shore.

In cooperation with the promotion programs organized by Tourism Bureau’s Tokyo office, North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration has held a seminar in the Empire Hotel of Tokyo to talk about the resources of the north coast shore.  The Administration has also talked with the Japanese truism related businesses and travel agents.   Besides, the interaction were ignited with Japanese organizations such as, NHK culture center—the tourism forum, Tochigi television, Chiba television, Kanagawa News, World Daily News, Asahi Weekly, Travel Guide Publisher Shoubunnsha and Sennshuusha, Japanese Traveler Writers Association, and Pen Club Association.   The seasonal tourism resources on the north coast shore were introduced to these Japanese organizations and have cultivated deep impressions.  The administration also took part in the Taiwan Roadshow Activities in Yuurakujyou in Tokyo as well as the plaza of the Sakuragichou Station in Shin Yokohama.  In these activities, the administration has directly interacted with Japanese people who are interested in coming to the north coast shore.   The promotion of the beauty on the north coast shore can be said to be successfully undertaken and has progressed itself towards the very potential market in Japan.
 
The director of the Tourism Bureau of MOTC, Mr Zhou Yong Hui and the Chairwoman of the Taiwanese Tourism Association, Mrs. Yei Ju Lan have showcased the AR Virtual Reality of Yeiliu Queen’s Head in these activities.  Japanese Toraberu Watch has visited the booth of Taiwan Easy Go for an interview.  The company has recommended for many times in its program to their audience about the interesting spots of the north coast shore.  North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration has also recommend the individual travels from Japan to take advantage of the bus services provided by Taiwan Easy Go—Crown North Coast Shore Line.  The hot spring packages provided by Jinshan and Wan hot spring hoteliers were also introduced to Japanese travelers.  The Tokyo Tourism Fair has successfully attracted the attention of potential Japanese visitors to come to the north coast shore for a relaxing and culturally enriched journey.
