Sanzhi Visitor Center is located in the ethereal atmosphere of mountains and sea, and is home to cherry blossoms in early spring. The Northguan National Scenic Area completed renovations of Sanzhi Visitor Center Exhibition Hall in 2022, creating a number of immersive installations that combine landscaping and projected images. With the slogan "Travel Sanzhi with Mountains, Seas and Loving Cherry Blossoms" the venue was open to public on October 8, 2022.
Director Chen Meixiu said that Sanzhi has Qianshui Bay Waterfront Park and the cherry blossom season in spring, as well as a verdant terraced landscape and distinctive Zhongzheng Road Crested Myna Avenue, all of which should be experienced in person.
At the venue, the "Sakura Dreams" area is landscaped with three cherry trees and cherry blossom projections. The "Healing Sea" area offers a 10-minute animation which depicts the seaside scenery from sunrise to sunset using a real-time algorithm. "Food from the Mountain by the Mountain" uses terrace field ecological AR and a projected dinner table to introduce local specialties. The visitor center also has a large lawn area that is perfect for family picnics and strolls. Restrooms and cafes are also available, allowing visitors to recharge their batteries before continuing to see the local sights.
