The Concert of Jinshan Beach , as part of fortunate north coast shore activities series, will take place at four pm. on July 15 ( Saturday) 2017 on the beach at the Jin Shan Youth Activity Center. This concert is organized by the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration of Tourism Bureau of Ministery of Transportation and Communication.
With an aim to promoting local cultual events and boosting tourism, the concert has for the first time combined the JinShan area cultually featured event, the sulfuric fire fishing, to create an interesting activity in summer catering parents with the youngsters and tourists alike. Famous singers and clubs from universities will appear to perform and entertain audiences, to light up the prelude of summer with fishing lanterns. The Huanggang Fishing Harbor will be light up to the full and open for all visitors with no entrance fee, to witness the charm of the cultrally attractive " sulfuric fire fishing."
Fishing boat lights at Huanggang Fishing Harbor has long been regarded as one of the eight most splendid landscapes in JinShan area. As the night falls, dots of lights pop out and shimmer on the surface of the ocean, together with the sea breeze, creating a wonderful beauty in summer.
In summer, " sulfuric fire fishing " is managed in the Huanggang Fishing Harbor. The century long fishing method and activity is to use chemicals to be mingled with water, to light up torches, and schools of blue florescent fish will be attracted by lights, jumping fanatically out of water. Fishermen catch the jumping blue florescent fish with nets, and the beautiful scenes of florescent fishes jumping into the seas of torches have been honored in photography contests held by National Geographic Magazine.
This year, four existing sulfuric fire fishing boats will be invited to perform the fire show. Visitors attending the concert will enjoy also the splendid fish jumping into a sea of lights in the cool summer night. Visitors are strongly recommended to join the concert and sulfuric fire fishing show.
