“Light up Taiwan,” a much highlighted program of the Taiwan Cycling Festival, presents beautiful oceans and unique lighthouses at once through LOHAS cycling tours. Many cyclists have been drawn to take part and enjoy Taiwan’s scenic towns and people’s hospitality.
The festival’s last session but not the least - “Slow Cycling Tour at Taiwan’s Northernmost Point, Fugui Cape Lighthouse”- kicked off at Jhongjiao Bay of the North Coast at 2pm on November 16. An open fair was held alongside, with local businesses in attendance. Each participant was provided with a NT$70 coupon to use. In total, more than 800 cyclists, either individually or in teams, joined force. The event was truly lively.
