After four years of preparation and construction work, the first raptor museum in northern Taiwan will be inaugurated on September 26, 2020. The museum includes five exhibition areas and one special zone, showcasing Guanyinshan’s raptors and geological formations through pictures, texts, and models. The museum also uses interactive multimedia and virtual-reality facilities for visitors to learn about these themes through their five senses.
On the same day, there is an “Autumn, Pomelos & Hiking” event, which includes a fun “water-carrying” game and a mountain-cleaning session. Participants will be given limited-edition handmade pomelo soaps for free, as long as they share pictures on the activity page. All members of the public are encouraged to join the occasion and celebrate Mid-moon Festival in advance.
