The Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - 716 Crown Northern Coast Shuttle Bus promoted by the North Scenic Area Administration won the first place in the promotion unit of the general type of the 2021 Optimization of Service Quality of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle award by the Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications. Mei-hsiu, Chen, the director, said that the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - 716 Crown Northern Coast Shuttle Bus adjusts its operation mode and enhances service quality year by year. In 2020, it won the second place in the Optimization of Service Quality of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and in 2021, it continued to shape the image of the route and integrate multiple vehicles, and so won the first place and excellent results.
A few examples of the service optimization of the North Scenic Area Administration are combination of Danhai Light Rail Transit and green transportation of Youbike and GoShare to promote low carbon tourism on the North Coast, integration of transportation, special attractions of the North Coast, and businesses to issue tickets of themed packages, and increase of the image of North Coast attractions on buses. Also, it provides an incentive mechanism to award certificates and bonuses to excellent drivers so as to enhance brand recognition and develop sense of honor of good driving.
