The summer night immersive light show “2025 Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen’s Head Illuminated at Night” will be hosted at the Yehliu Geopark from June 28 (Saturday) to July 13 (Sunday), 2025 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. On May 22, the Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters held a press conference in Taipei, announcing that the show would kick off with a dazzling light ball dance performance and a stunning Queen’s Head light show. Early bird tickets are available online starting 12:00 p.m. on May 22, and both domestic and international visitors are invited to visit Yehliu for this exclusive night-time light and shadow extravaganza.

Director-General Chou Yung-hui of the Tourism Administration emphasized that the Yehliu Geopark is a major international attraction in northern Taiwan and a must-visit destination for global travelers. Since its launch in 2018, the “Yehliu Night Tours” has become a flagship biennial international event on the Tourism Administration’s calendar. By combining the iconic Queen’s Head rock formation with artistic lighting effects, the event transforms the park into a magical nighttime landscape each summer. The event has also won several international awards including the Platinum Award (category: Event Innovation) at the 2024 TITAN Business Awards (USA), the Gold Award (category: Events) at the 2024 MUSE Creative Awards (USA), and the Gold Award (category: Outdoor Lighting and Nightscape) at the 2024 French Design Awards. To further draw international visitors, July 9 will be designated as “International Day.” On this day, foreign visitors who present their passports at entry will receive an exclusive limited-edition souvenir. Through this luminous celebration, the event aims to bring the world closer to Yehliu and boost the local nighttime economy across Crown Coast tourism areas, invigorating sectors such as food, lodging, shopping, sightseeing, and transport.
This year’s theme, titled “a costume party,” will present a stunning fusion of landscape, art, creativity, and technology, showcasing Yehliu’s extraordinary natural wonders. Visitors will embark on a fantastic light-and-shadow journey, immersing themselves in a magical summer night party and witnessing the Queen’s Head’s dazzling transformation.
The 2025 Yehliu Night Tours will take place from June 28 to July 13, with two daily sessions beginning at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Please note that there is no venue clearance between sessions, and that tickets are limited.
