Under the theme “fun in every season,” the Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters planned a winter-only itinerary titled “Winter Adventures: Have Fun, Dine, and Soak in Hot Springs.” Visitors are warmly invited to embark on a heart-warming journey that brings together the hot springs of Jinshan and Wanli Districts, awe-inspiring coastal adventures, and local cuisine.
In the morning, visitors can brave the cold northeast monsoon and head to the Yehliu Geopark to observe extraordinary geological formations and sea winds. Then, they can continue to the Guihou Fishing Harbor and Venus Coast, witnessing low-hanging clouds and the sky merging with the sea to create a majestic winter-only seascape. Here, they can savor fresh, seasonal seafood caught straight from the harbor. In the afternoon, they can make their way to the historic Jinbaoli Old Street to enjoy local specialties with 100+ years of history, such as Jinshan duck, roasted sweet potatoes, and traditional rice crispy. It is also the perfect place to shop for local souvenirs.
As night falls, visitors can return to the comforting embrace of hot springs to warm both their bodies and minds. The Jinshan and Wanli hot spring areas feature a diverse range of spring types including sulfur springs, carbonated springs, and iron-rich springs, fulfilling travelers’ demands for the perfect winter soak. Visitors can choose to stay at one of the exquisite hot spring hotels and enjoy a relaxing one-night, two-meal experience, or visit the historic Huanggang Community Public Hot Springs to enjoy a natural outdoor foot bath.
The Northguan Scenic Area Headquarters has also thoughtfully developed multilingual travel information for the Crown Coast under the theme “fun in every season,” with all attractions linked directly to Google Maps. Whether traveling by car, bicycle, or public transportation, visitors can easily follow the maps and explore the Crown Coast with ease.
