To promote the Year of Bicycle Tourism (2021), the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration refurbished the scenic facilities along Shuangwan, Wanta, and Wanjin Bicycle Paths, and set up public bike rental stations along the way. Public transport and a range of other services are also available. At the administration’s website, there is a section which lists useful, comprehensive cycling information and several cycling routes.
This year, six cycling routes have been selected to represent the scenic area. Creative souvenirs of bicycle tourism are also for sale. A number of local businesses, utilizing natural and cultural resources, provide new cycling tours in the region. Visitors are encouraged to explore the North Coast more deeply and diversely on bicycles.
