Earlier this year, the Administration refurbished the wooden surface of Wanjin Bicycle Path. The wood was replaced with cement which provides more comfort. And to be eco-friendly and build a sustainable place, the Administration worked with local wood artisans, turning the wood into stools and cellphone holders. They even designed “Wanjin Bicycle Path Memorial Pen” to advertise Wanjin Bicycle Path as a “route of happiness.” In this way, the waste wood is in use again.
