Enhancing travel safety at the North Coast, the Administration holds CPR training

To make traveling in the North Coast safer and in conjunction with the 2021 Travel Safety Week in Taiwan, today (26th), at Baisha Bay Visitor Center, a special training on CPR (including AED) is held to enhance staff members’ knowledge and skills on first aid.

All of the seven visitor centers in the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area have been equipped with AED since 2011. The area’s administration staff and first aid workers have also acquired CPR & AED training certificates. Since 2014 and onwards, Sanzhi, Baishan Bay, Jinshan and Yehliu Visitor Centers have become “safe travel” sites certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

This year, a total of 112 personnel (including those from Yehliu Geopark and Heping Island Park) joined the training and they all passed a qualification exam. The Administration will continue to ensure travel quality and safety at the North Coast and Guanyinshan, so that all visitors can happily explore places and safely go home.
