To link up the tourist attractions and tourist shops at North Coast and Keelung and make these two areas a global tourist highlights, the Administration entrusted National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism to make plans for the “Crown Coat Tourist Circle.” The first meeting for creating a consensus and selecting participating shops was held at Heping Island Park. An introduction was given about the structure and content of the tourist circle. According to the North Coast’s administrative regions, 15 shops were selected by categories such as food, accommodation, sightseeing, shopping, and transport. With the selected shops, the Administration hopes to draw more young people to start their businesses in the tourism industry and thus provide better services to visitors soon.
