Sanzhi Visitor Center

Audio Guide

The visitor center, in front of the childhood residence of former president of Taiwan, Lee Teng-hui, comprising an information desk, an audio-visual room, exhibition rooms, a gallery, and a park on the outside, was officially open to the public in 2004 and is now a popular scenic spot.

The memorial gallery is founded to preserve the documents and legacies of Sanzhi natives and those of the four famous sons of Sanzhi, namely, Du Cong-ming, the first doctor of medicine in Taiwan, Jiang Wen-ye, an internationally renowned composer, Lee Teng-hui, the first populous-elected Taiwanese president, and Lu Xiu-yi, a pro-democracy activist and politician.

If you wish to have an unforgettable tour on the history and culture of Sanzhi, as well as its mountain scenery, it is recommended that you plan your itinerary starting from Sanzhi Visitor Center and Gallery.

Fun Facts
