Huhai Bay

Located between Aodi Beach of Dawulun and Wanli District of New Taipei City, Huhai Bay is known for interesting reef rocks shaped by ocean waves. Visitors not only can feast their eyes with beautiful views of the sky and oceans, but can even look at Keelung Islet in the far distance and the and incoming big boats along a bicycle path. Thus, the bay is ideal for a leisurely trip and hiking. At the nearby tourist information center, visitors can sip coffee and listen to the sounds of waves at once, or appreciate the colorful setting Sun. At night, the beautiful sparkling dots on the sea from fishery boats make this area worth a stay.

Huhai Bay is located between Aodi Beach in Dawulun and Wanli District in New Taipei City. The coastal reefs have been eroded by the sea over the years and sculpted into unique shapes. In addition to enjoying the view of sea and sky, visitors can take a walk along the bicycle path, look out at Keelung Islet and watch large vessels entering the harbor, making this an excellent place for leisure and hiking. The visitor service station was set up to serve tourists allowing them to sip coffee and tea while listening to the sound of the waves, enjoying the colorful nighttime scenery and further admiring fishing fires on the sea. It is a place visitors will want to explore and experience.

Fun Facts

Waimu Shan seashore is the longest natural seashore remained in Keelung City with a total of 5 kilometers from Waimu Shan fishing port to Aoditong Village. The seashore includes open seashore and marine cliff to make spectacular scenery.

Traffic Info

Public transport:

  1. Take Keelung bus 505 to Qingrenhu Rd. bus stop; follow Lane 208 of Jijin 1st Rd.; it’s about 40 min. by foot.
  2. Take Keelung bus 509 to Lovers Lake bus stop; walk across the street to the park area.

Driving:

  1. can be used by Sun Yat-sen Freeway north of Keelung, transferred from the railway station to meet Wen Hua Lu, Zhongshan, one or two roads to enter the wood mountain Marina.
  2. go north through North-Keelung, the Fund after the interchange, turn left to fund all the way back to West Coast Highway, turn right towards the direction of exterior wood mountain to enter, bicycle parking next to the tourist trail.
  3. the Jinshan, Wanli visitors can fund Highway and turn left in the direction to Wu Sheng Jie Wu LUN fishing ports along the coastline to the Waimu Bay Beach, or via the West coast road turn left, towards the direction of exterior wood mountain to enter, bicycle parking next to the tourist trail.
