Teresa Teng Memorial Park (Yun Garden)

Situated right within Chin Pao Shan of Jinshan District, New Taipei City, Yunyuan is where Teresa Teng sleeps for good. The singer was famous throughout Asia in the 1970s and 1980s. Her family named the place Yunyuan because her real name contains the character of Yun. The cemetery features a thorough display of Teng’s life and the objects she left behind. All day long, 10 of her most famous songs are played, for fans to commemorate the ever-shining super star anytime.

In the middle of the plaza at the entrance, one can find big piano keys on the ground. Stepping on them and beautiful musical notes rise up. At the small flower garden on the right hand side, there is a sculpture of Teresa Teng singing. Her sweet facial expressions shall be etched in our minds.
