Linshan Cape Recreation Area

Linshan Cape is hailed as “Taiwan’s most beautiful northernmost cape,” Situated by Baisha Bay, it gazes at Fugui Cape and vice versa. 800,000 years ago, after Zhuzi Volcano of Datun Volcanoes erupted, the protruding cape took shape. The early residents called it “nose-end” or “nose-head.” In the Japanese Rule, it was renamed as Linshan Cape.

Linshan Cape Recreation Area is equipped with hiking trails and wooded trails. Other than appreciating coastal scenery, visitors can observe beach ecology. The area is therefore ideal for families with young children. Kids can learn so much out there in the nature. The area is also great for watching the sunset. The beach looks especially mysterious and beautiful when rays of the setting Sun cast upon it.

Fun Facts

Some of the scenes of the movie “Secret” were filmed at the Linshan Cape. In one of the scenes, the male and female main characters were on their bikes at the biking trail of Linshan Cape.
