Shizhiyi Ocean Disserts is the first Badouzi second-generation fishing boat shop transformed into a store that produces and sells its own products. It sells the catch caught by its own fishing boat directly, or makes its own self-developed whole food neritic squid, fossil roasted cuttlefish etc, which are rich in local character. The products are marketed as souvenirs and matched with various products imbued with marine elements to create a specialty store with distinctive Badouzi features.
The shop also works with the city government, development association and schools to give talks that promote fish-eating education and the fishing industry, so more people know where the fish they eat come from, how to select and prepare it.
It also promotes the concept of being ocean-friendly and analyzes various fishing gear, fishing methods and the life cycle of different species of fish, as well as their impact on ocean sustainability, utilizing its personal knowledge of the industry to spread the idea of sustainable fisheries.
