Badasan Restaurant

Badasan Restaurant was opened in 2008 by the beautiful Bali Seaside. Elders of the Seediq tribe invited chef Zhang Keqin to open a relatively rare indigenous cuisine restaurant at the market in an effort to challenge the widely held belief that indigenous cuisine is the same as roadside fast food. The indigenous restaurant was transformed into a larger and more refined venue without losing its original sense of warmth and joy. The restaurant mainly offers indigenous cuisine and a variety of chef recommended dishes. "Paiwan Millet Jinafu" and "Beinan Shell Flower Glutinous Rice A bai" are representative tribal delicacies and also very popular. Some people call it "Indigenous Rice Dumplings," with the filling wrapped in Virginia pepperweed leaves that promote gastrointestinal motility. It can be eaten with sticky glutinous rice plus millet, wrapped with wild boar marinated in soy sauce, sugar, and spices, which tastes fragrant and soft.
