The 7-cha brand is very simple and based on the needs of busy modern people. Complicated tea making tools are not required and anyone can make a delicious cup of tea as long as they have a “cup, hot water and a tea bag that is not bitter after long brewing.”
In the spring of 2020, a tea bag was designed that is not bitter after long brewing and “7-cha” was founded the same year.
From visual design to tea product design, every detail is inspected with the spirit of craftsmanship. Each tea bag is hand roasted by an award-winning tea roaster. Special techniques are used to remove the bitter elements in the tea leaves and retain the aroma and throaty notes of the leaves, ensuring the tea bags are not bitter after long brewing. The tea sold is 100% Taiwanese, with each batch of tea sent for inspection. The inner bags are made by select high-quality PLA environmentally-friendly materials. The tea bags use whole Taiwan tea leaves, subverting the image that tea bags are bitter and unpleasant tasting.
